Tires: Load Range, class c rv, uniroyal tires

Question
QUESTION: Thank you for the answer about Uniroyal tires.
Now I have to ask about using Cooper Discover H/T LT225/75R16 tires on my class C RV.
The Firestone tires on my RV now are load range D.
What would happen if I replaced them with LR E?

ANSWER: Junior,

The load carrying characteristics of a Load Range E are identical to a Load Range D, except for the fact that the LR E can carry more load when inflated to a higher pressure.

QUESTION: Thank you.
And does that mean the Cooper tires with highway tread would be an ideal tire for my class C?

Answer
Junior,

What would be your idea of an ideal tire?

Some folks think that wear is the most important thing in a tire.  Some folks think that grip is the most important.  Others - noise!  Still others - cost!

So I can't answer your question without knowing what you consider important.

But I should advise you that I work for a major manufacturer of tires and it just wouldn't be right for me to comment on the differences between brands.
