Tires: Avalanche 2500 4WD Tire Pressure, pirelli scorpion atr, tire minder max

Question
I have a 2002 Chevy Avalanche 2500 4WD. I've just installed new Pirelli Scorpion ATR LT245/75/16E on the 16X6.5J rims. The tire pressure called for in the sticker is 50psi front and 80psi rear. The other sticker details are: GVWR 8,600lb; GAWR FRT 4,380lb front and GAWR rear 5,500lb. The tire shop put 35psi in all 4 tires but I assume that tires are under inflated, specially the rear ones.
I normally drive in 2 configurations: Light load (total of 1-4 people with an empty rear box). Heavy load when every weekend I drive 100-200 miles (including some off road) to diving sites with a total of 4-5 people and diving equipment that weigh between 400 to 550 pounds in the rear box. What is the optimum tire pressure distribution for both configurations?
One more thing please, do you recommend using tire pressure indicator caps similar to the one in the below link?

Answer
Ahmed,

On every vehicle sold in the US, there is a sticker – commonly called the tire placard - that lists the original tire size and the proper pressure for that size.  The placard is usually located on a doorpost or in the glove box – but sometimes it is located in the trunk or on the fuel filler door.

I am told this tire place is pretty much used world wide, but I can't state that for sure.

Assuming that it is, is the tire size the same as the placard?  If so, use that pressure.

If not, please post a followup with the placard tire size and pressure.
