Tires: Date code on tires, goodyear eagle, load index

Question
I have two codes that need to be deciphered,.

C58R

B93V

Any help would be appreciated.

Thx,

Tom

Answer
Thomas,

The C58R is the name of the tire given by the manufacturer such as a Goodyear "Eagle".

The B93V is the load index and speed rating of the tire ie: 93 is the load index and the "v" is the speed rating.  The "B" is not of any significance.

None of these numbers are DOT or Date codes.  The DOT is located near the bead of the tire near the rim and not typically on the sidewall.
