Tires: Tire Replacement, 2003 chevy trailblazer, chevy trailblazer

I have a nail in the sidewall of one tire in my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer 4x4. The tires are 1/2 worn.  Can I replace only the damaged tire, or do I need to replace 2 or 4.

 Replacing one tire shouldn't cause any problems.  I would have the new tire installed on the passenger rear of the vehicle.  Something to ponder if you replace two tires now you'll put yourself in the situation where you need only replace two tires at a time when necessary thus costing you less for each occurrence.
