Tires: S70 Volvo 1998, michelin mxv4, load index

Question
Michelin specifies that the tire for this car is a MXV4 Primacy 195-60-R15 88V or H.  Can I install Michelin MXV4 Energy Plus 195-60-R15 97H or 98H? Can I use a combination of different load index's (97 and a 98H) on the same car?
Thanks, Greg

Answer
Greg,

The Energy MXV4 in a H rating should perform satisfactorily on your vehicle without sacrificing ride or performance.  For a more specific, Michelin, response you may want to send this question to one of the other gentlemen as I am not a fan of the Michelin products due to past "Real" life experiences.

A general rule of thumb is to NOT mix load ramges and speed ratings for SAFETY and performance reasons.
