Tires: CRV 2005 Tyres, tyre size, expert comments

Hii,

Original tyre size was 215/65/R16 which were replaced with 235/60/R16 thinking of good road grip & less noise.

is this correct ?I mean what will happen now ?

Changing tire size is a minor change compared the effect the difference in the tire itself can make - even within the same size. So it will be impossible to make a prediction as to what will happen.  

However directionally the change is size is towards better grip, but no change in noise.
