Tires: Tires, goodyear, michelin

I had my car tires checked today, and was told that all 4 tires have slipped belts, and that they are so bad they can't be balanced.  I find it hard to believe that with only about 20,000 miles and great tread,  How can that be???

I find it hard to believe that a shop would allow you to leave the shop with unsafe tires ( if that was true, what they claim ).

I would get a 2nd look at them from a different shop. Don't tell them what the last shop said until they are done looking at it.  Just ask to have the tires inspected.

If they are Michelin go to a Michelin shop.  If Goodyear go to Goodyear.
