What is today's equivalent tire size for the old 800 x 14?

Unfortunately, there isn't an exact answer.  The sizing system are enough different that you sometimes can't get there from here.  The major problems are load carrying capacity and the size of the wheelwells.

I suggest you contact Coker Tire.  They deal with vintage tires and are familiar with the various vintage vehicles.  They should be able to find a tire that fits the diameter / width / load carrying / rim size limitations.
