Tires: Quick question about driving with the parking brake engaged, mazda3, safe side

Question
I apologize since this isn't technically a "tire" question but it comes closest in line with the categories provided.

I have a fairly new late model Mazda3 and it was driven by by a friend for about 90 miles on the highway with the parking brake engaged.  I don't recall smelling anything during the drive but the windows were closed and both of us were pretty tired.  I would like to know if there might be significant damage to the brakes/rotor or anything else that I might be ignorant of.

Thanks for your time and generosity!

Answer
I have done that myself.

You should have the brakes checked.  There could be damage.

Also, have the tires checked and balance.

Thats being safe.

Now if you look at the car and it looks ok, and drives ok, then there may be nothing wrong, but be on the safe side and have the brakes checked.
Go to a shop that does free brake check ( don't tell them the story ).

You now know that the parking brake does not work that good.
