Tires: tire size, saturn sw1, tire failures

I have a Saturn SW1. The tire for SW1 is 175/70-14 can a 185/60-14 fit on
this vehicle

There are a couple of issues here, but the simple answer is that this would be going down in load carrying capacity and that would increase the risk of load related tire failures - which sometimes have tragic results.  This is not a good idea.
