Tires: Matching all tire Info, tire info, discount tire

How much variance can i have with regard to width and ratio? I have a  almost new set of 215/60/R15 that came off a car that I no lognger have. I want to put them on a car that recommends 195/65/R15. Can I safely do this?

The problem is the amount of space available in the fenderwell.

The folks that measure that sort of thing think the information gives them a competitive advantage, so they don’t share.

I suggest you contact Discount Tire or Tire Rack.  They both do those sorts of measurements.
