Tires: low profile tires, low profile tires, acura mdx

I have a 02 Acura MDX.  Originally the vehicle came with 235 65-17.  I purchased the vehicle with 255 50-19 on it.  I notice the handling is very tight in the steering wheel and I feel every little bump in the road, since I live in Illinois there are alot of bumps in the roads.  Will I notice a difference if I put original tires back on the vehicle or should I look beyond the wheels and consider suspension?

You say it had 17 inch tires on before but now has 19 inch tires.  That correct???
If so, you will have to change rims first.
As for the bumps.  Low profile tires, like the 235/50 will feel the bumps more then the 235/65.  The 65 profile will still feel bumps, but less.
