Tires: Ripples, ripples, spokes

Hi. I purchased a 2007 caliber with Dunlop tires. Each tire has ripples in the sidewall. Is this normal?

If you mean small indentations that are in the sidewall that are radially out like the spokes on a wheel, then. yes, that is normal.

A bulge you be a concern, but and indentation is caused by the overlapped cords and that would make the tire stronger in that area.
