Tires: BOUNCY TIRES, proper inflation pressure, doorpost

Question
EVER SINCE I PUT NEW RIMS ON MY CAR, THE RIDE IS BOUNCY. I'VE HAD THEM BALANCED A NUMBER OF TIMES BUT THE PROBLEM KEEPS REOCCURING. I'VE SPENT A LOT OF MONEY ON THESE RIMS TO JUST TAKE THEM OFF.ANY ADVICE?

Answer
Ashley,

I need some more information.

First, please find your vehicle placard.  It is usually located on a doorpost or in the glove box.  I need to know what it says was the original tire size and the proper inflation pressure for that size.

Then, you need to measure the inflation pressure that is in the tires now.

Next, did you change tire size?

If so, what is the new size?  Changing tire size usually means you need to change inflation pressure.

I suspect that you have too much pressure in the tires, but to tell you what it should be, I need the above information.
