Tires: old tire size to new, lrd, tire size

I have a Truck with 7.50 x 16 Tires with load rating's of D and I would like to go to a newer tire of this size in a D or E load rating.  What would be the appropriate cross over size for these specs.    Thanks,  R.C.

Unfortunately, the sizing change also causes some other problems.  But the closet fit is LT235/85R16 with +10 psi change in pressure.

The diameters are close, but be aware that the LT235/85R16 will not fit on a 5.5" rum where the 7.50-16 LRD will.
