Tires: buying alloy wheels for ford focus, correct fitment, wheel trims

I have a 1999 Ford Focus with 13" wheel (trims)-can I buy larger alloy wheels (15/17") and just have them fitted?

It's a little unclear, but I think you are asking if you can buy only rims - and not tires.  If that is the case - No!  13" tires only fit on 13" rims.

But if you are asking if you can get 17" tires and rims to fit your car, the answer is yes, but it has to be done correctly or you will have problems - some of them potentially dangerous.

So it's best to have a retailer assist you who will be responsible for the correct fitment and any problems that arise.

I suggest you talk to Discount Tire or Tire Rack.
