Tires: Radial vs Bias Ply, radial tires, pressure maintenance

I have a tandem axle travel trailer, 26' tow behind, about 6000lbs gross. Length of trip varies from short to several hundred miles. I would like to know if I should be running bias ply or radial tires on my trailer.

I don't think it matters if a trailer uses radials or bias tires.  What I think makes a difference is the load carrying capacity and the pressure maintenance.  I suspect that the folks who advocate bias over radials tend to be a bit on the "Don't like change" side, and don't do a good job of either alignment or pressure.
