Tires: Car sitting for a looooong time!, divorce proceedings, performance tires

Question
Hello, I have recently recovered a car of mine that was sitting in storage for a few years during divorce proceedings.  I was able to bring the car to my home, check fluids and such, new battery, etc. The car started right up, ran fine.  But, since it has been sitting in one spot for so long, the tires appear to be "flat spotted".  I mean they have a vibration as if they are permanately flat in one spot.  The tires are BFG low profile performance tires and were virtually new when I had to place the car in storage.  I did drive the car about 50 miles and it did improve, but is there any solution to this?  Suggestions?  Thanks very much!!

Answer
Garry,

You've given me an opportunity to try out a theory I have.  Try this:

Run the tire for 30 minutes at 70 mph at 5 psi below the placard.  Then immediately inflate the tire to 10 psi above the placard and operate the tire for 30 minutes at about 35 mph - the final speed is not important except that the vehicle has to be operating.

Then allow the tire to cool.

Let me know how this works.
