Tires: vibration, michilin tires, e320 mercedes

Question
I have a E320 mercedes with Michilin tires...I was getting vibration and movement in the steering wheel at 60 to 75 miles per hour, took it in had tires rotated and balanced. Vibration and movement in the steering wheel is better, still some vibration, but now the seats are vibrating at 60 and above?

Answer
Glenn,

Your vehicle is probably out of alignment and it made the front tires out of round.  That caused the vibration in the front, which, of course, now shows up in the rear.

So you need to get an alignment.

But that is not going to solve the vibration proble, because the tires are out of round and you can't put rubber back on the tires.

You can either wait until a new wear pattern in worn into the tires, and hopefully that won't take too long....or you can buy new tires.
