Tires: replacing suv tires with regular tires?, passenger tires, replacement tires

my sister has a '97 Jeep TJ and she is looking for a new set of wheels to replace the old Goodyear GS-A tires.  She does mostly high-way driving and no off-roading at all...  As long as the tire size is the same (P225/75R15).. can the replacement tires be changed to just "regular" passenger tires or does it have to be a "truck/suv" tire?

Sure you can use P tires. Just understand the Air pressure will be lower than the LT tires. LT tire are built with extra plys so they will be a little more durable when using off road.  The sidewall on P tires can damage when taking off road.
