Tires: Tire missing manufacture date, goodyear fortera triple tread, tire identification number

Question
I have purchased 4 Goodyear Fortera Triple Tread tires and 2 of the tires have the dot codes of 4B08 4DHR 4505 and 4B08 4DHR 2105.  If I understand correctly the 2105 is 21st week of 2005 and 4505 is 45th week of 2005.  The other two tires I am unable to find any date.  Should I be concerned?  I have heard of special knock off tires and I hope that I have not been taken for a ride.  Thank you in advance.

Answer
Kirk,

All tires sold in the US have to have the Tire Identification Number - what you called the DOT code.  Somewhere on the tire this code appears - OR it was removed, but there ought to be evidence that it was removed.  If it was removed, that should mean the tire should not be sold (even as a used tire) - It is scrap.

But I'll bet the DOT code is on the other side.
