Tires: changing rim and tire size, model mustang, bumpy roads

Question
i have 205/65/15 on my mustang right now what could i do to get a more comfortable ride, i live in a very bumpy city and you feel every bump hard.  also i was wondering if i could put bigger tires on the back to make the car look a little tougher.   thankyou

Answer
Hey Brian!

Bumpy roads huh....do you live in Nashville by chance??? LOL

I would leave your tires alone and stay with the size you currently have. Your problem could very well be something else....make sure that your air pressure is set correctly with the information that is inside the drivers door. Secondly, have your struts and shocks checked. I assume that you are the same Brian that wrote me about changing to an 18" inch tire on a 1997 model Mustang. If so, there is a good chance that they have never been changed and that can give you a very harsh ride.

Anything else let me know!

Andrew :)
