Tires: Tire sizing, profile tire, 195 60 r15

Hello.

I have a 2002 Acura 1.7 (a Honda Civic with a slightly more powerful engine).  The original tire size of 185/65/R15.  I understand there wouldn't be a problem using a lower profile tire 195/60/R15.

Would there be much benefit in going with the lower profile?

It's almost a wash. There's only a 1% differance in the circufrence. So when you are going 60mph by your speedo. You are only going 59.3mph. Most tire company's cure those tires in the same mold. They change the belt angles and widths so the tire will grow when fully inflated.
