Tires: tires for toyota avalon 205/60 r16, michelin mxv4 tires, toyota avalon

My toyota 2000 avalonxls came equipped with Michelin mxv4 tires, now have approx. 32,000 miles and must be replaced. These tires have not provided good traction in rain, and am disappointed in mileage. Tire size is 205/60 R16. Could you recommend a good replacement tire?

Mary, Thats about average miliage for that tire. You did not say but it is probly an H rated tire. The Michelin Harmony is a better high milage tire. The BFGoogrich TA radial is another.  The MXV4 tire has a new tread compound thats suppose to get better milage.  Check at Sam's club or Costco.
