Tires: tire wear, jeep grand cherokee, wheel allignment

Question
i have a 1999 jeep grand cherokee with stock tires both front tires are wearing unevenly they  are wearing down on the outside of the tire what could be the problem? could it be that i need an allignment, or something worse i want to know before i get new tires. thank you
i got a wheel allignment last year is it possible they messed with my toe in, the jeep squeals when i make a low speed turn

Answer
Ed,

At the very least, you need an alignment, but it is also possible that there is something more serious causing the alignment to be off.  For example, an accident could have bent the frame.  Or it could be something much less serious like the tie rods end need to be replaced.  Or even that simpler, the toe just may need to be adjusted because the springs have settled a bit after 6 years.

hope this helps.
