Tires: Puncture Seal and tires, messy situation, tire problem

Question
Hi,

I'd appreciate your advice on a tire problem that I am experiencing.  I believe the problem may have been caused by a bottle of Puncutre Seal Tire Repair that I used improperly.

Earlier today I noticed that I had a flat tire, so I filled the tire with two cans of Puncture Seal. A few mintues later I drove the car to a mechanic who repaired the tire for me (there was a nail in the tire).

Shortly after the repair I noticed that whenever I go above 40 mph my steering wheel vibrates.  Once I go above 60 mph the steering wheel vibrates very very strongly.

I think that the two containers of puncture seal may have balled together inside of the tire.  The main reason this happend is likely to be because I did not drive the car for 3 to 4 miles  immediatiely after filling the tire with the Puncture Seal...which is what the directions indicated.  However I did drive the car about 10 minutes after filling the tire with the Puncture Seal.

What do you think?  Is there anything I can do to fix the problem other than buying a new tire?

Thank you!

Answer
Hey, Steven
I hate that stuff. Its good to have on a road trip for emergencies, but the problem is if you don't drive for a while it all settles in one spot. That causes the tire to be out of balance.  The only thing you can try, is to dismount the tire and clean out the gunk. It takes a while for it to become solid so you may still have time. The people who fix flats will somtimes do that for you, if you tell them about it in advance.

Good luck with a real messy situation.
