Tires: Tire Size, saturn sw1, rim width

Question
I want to replace the original 175-70R14 tires that came with my 1995 Saturn SW1 with either 185/70-14, 175/65-14 or 185/65-14.  These are the closest choices available for the tire make & model that I'm interested in.  I'm leaning towards 185/65-14.  Which would you choose and why?
Thankyou...

Answer
The most important thing about tire size is its load carrying capacity - you don't want to go smaller in capacity.

So the 175/65R14 is out - It's smaller.

The 185/70R14 is larger, but the 185/65R14 is nearly identical - both in load capacity and diameter.

The only question is the rim width - and your Saturn came with 6" rims, which is OK for all the sizes mentioned.

Hope this helps.
