Tires: New tire size, but what tires??, rims tires, oem rims

Question
Hi Barry,
I've just purchased a set of 17" wheels for my 1994 Saturn SL2.  I am looking for a tire-size of 205/45/17 and would appreciate it, if you might give me a few of your choice picks.  Please take into consideration that these will only be used from Spring to Fall (the OEM rims/tires during winter).  Also, I don't race, but I do want something that will have "B" average sticking power wet/dry, and I'd also like them to be fairly quiet.
I don't have $175 to spend on each tire, and therefore, I'd truly appreciate your help!

Answer
Michael,

First, the combination you picked means you need to use more inflation pressure than what your placard says.  I'd recommend 36 front / 32 rear (placard say 30 / 26)

Second, because I work for a major manufacturer of tires, you wouldn't be able to tell if I'm promoting my company's products.   Or not.  So I restrain myself from making recommendations.

Hope this helps.
