Tires: tires, quality tire, rim

Hi Barry,
I will soon be in the market for some new tires for my '96 Toyota Rav2- 16 inches rim.  What should i look for in a high quality tire?  What are some of the better brand out there?

The things you should look for in a high quality tire are those things that are directed towards what you want to accomplish in your purchase.  In other words, what aren't your current tires doing that you'd like to have them do.  And what are the things that you are willing to give up in order to get them.  Those are the kinds of things you need to consider when you start shopping.

Brands?  Sorry, I work for a major manufacturer and it just wouldn't be right for me to comment on brands - besides you wouldn't be able to tell if I am being honest or not.
