Tires: Tire Sizes, ford taurus, size tire

Tim,  i have a 2001 Ford Taurus with 215/60/16 tires which came on the vehicle new.  I would like to put 225/60/16 on it for a little more tread on the highway.  Will i be ok by doing this and will it affect my speedometer readings any.

it could effect your speedometer alittle bit but not much,Going to a 225 is a bigger size tire and make sure it don't rub against the fender wall before you have the others installed if not it could damage the tire and your fender wall if it's ok then you're ok.
