Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: neck pain, yamaha fazer, cbr 600

I am a new rider, me and my husband.  We are in out mid 40's. I noticed since we have started riding he has intense back pain and I have intense neck pain of left side. However, it can start hurting like several days after we ride.  Is this probably due to our motorcycles? Is there a helment you would suggest? LOVE to ride but woner if toooo old!

When I first started riding I found this as well. It went away when I got a Yamaha Fazer as before I was riding a CBR 600. Leaning over gave me really bad neck and back pain but the slightly more upright riding position of the Fazer really helped.

Are you relaxed when you're riding or tensing up? If the pain continues please visit the Doctor or a Chiropractor.
