QUESTION: I'm 5'7 and 230 pounds. what size sportsbike would be best for me.

ANSWER: I would be all to happy to try and answer this question, but it is a little open ended.  I would need to consider your experience, and use you want to put the motorcycle to.  Could you supply that info

The best thing I can suggest is you go to your local training centre and see what is available.  Try the one which best suits you.  Sorry I can not be more precise, but your laws in the US are completely different to the UK
