Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: should i drive this, fastest production bike, sportsbike

Im new to motorcycles and i want a sportsbike. i was looking at a suzuki hayabusa. im aware thats its the fastest production bike made, but is it going to be to fast for casual driving? will i never get to leave first gear because i will not be driving over 80mph?

Do what you want.  In my opinion, you'd be just fine if you TRULY know your limitations and stick to them.  Some people live to tell about their first bike as a sportbike, others don't.  It is a rather heavy bike to ride as a first bike.  Otherwise, I guess I could say "I told you so" after you bury yourself into the nearest mountainside.
