Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: Ape hangers, ape hangers, base diameter

I'm 5'9" was wandering what rise ape hangers would you recommend and what would the cost be on a 01 dyna widegilde.

Honestly, the handlebar height is up to you, the rider.  What I like may not suit your needs.  

As long as you utilize the same handlebar base diameter you don't have to worry about buying new mounts.  However, what can get a little spendy and nickle/dime you will be if you use handlebars that are much longer than the wiring & cables on your handlebars.  If you're not a do-it-yourselfer, add in the cost of labor to all this.
