Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: sports bike, kawasaki ninja, ninja 600

Question
Hi, im a teenager like 14 and a half. i wanna start taking classes for motorcycles. i want a sports bike when i get older. what do you think would be a good sports bike for begginers? P.S: I am a fan of the kawasaki ninja. is that any good?

Answer
The Ninja 250 is a terrific first bike. Plan to ride it for at least 2-3 years before moving up to a 500 or perhaps the 650R.

Don't even think about getting the Ninja 600 until you have at least five years of good, solid riding experience. 600cc sport bikes are NOT for beginners. They are way too much motorcycle for the street, and only should be ridden by capable, experienced riders.
