Question
do i have to use a clutch when changing gears on a dirt bike. my clutch is broken and i cant fix it it stays on when i pull it and wont go loose unless i push the metal back down.

Answer
You do not need to use the clutch if you get the revs right either going up a gear, or going down a gear.  However without a clutch it will it make it very difficult to select a gear when starting of, or stopping.  My advice, get it fixed, much more safer
