Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: Height and weight, fz 6, steel braided brake lines

Question
I am 6' 6" and weigh 250 lbs, I would like to begin riding, what size cycle should I learn on?

Answer
Check out a used FZ-6 or older VFR if you have some prior street time. If not just sit around on diffent bikes and see what suits you. Remember fuel injection=bad, steel braided brake lines=bad Nothing 600ccs or over made in the last 7 years. Its a personal matter, some people i ride with are your size and ride Super sports others are 5'9 or so and complain about cramping up on sport tourers. Best bet is sit on bikes with the criteria i've mentioned until you find what you like.
