Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: motorcycle exhaust, suzuki intruder 1500 lc, intruder 1500 lc

Hey, i just bought an 2003 Suzuki Intruder 1500 lc.  I love the bike, but its too quiet.  I have heard some people tell me about drilling holes to make it louder.  I wouldn't mind trying this because if i mess up i would probably just buy a new louder one.  I was wondering if i drilled any techniques to use and if i buy a new exhaust (looking for more noise) what would a couple of choices.

Not really my expertise to answer questions about modifications but I can tell you that D.I.Y. alterations such as drilling holes and removing baffles from the exhaust is not only illegal but will also severely affect the performance of the machine.
You want to make an Intruder louder? I can't see why you would want to but maybe finding a KTM supplier in your area would help.
