Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: bike for small person, kawasaki vulcan 500, honda shadow vlx

Hello,
I've been riding a Kawasaki 125 for 4 seasons and am ready to graduate to a motorcycle with more oomph. I ride mainly local roads, with only the occasional highway trip. I am 4'11" and 115 lbs and I need something I can push around a bit. I'm looking at the Kawasaki Vulcan 500, the Honda Shadow VLX 583, and the Honda rebel 234... I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions as to my next bike!
