AnswerMods are an individual/personal decision. Ride the bike for a year in all kinds of weather, on all kinds of roads, and in all kinds of traffic, and decide what you like about it and what you don't.
If you're dying to spend money souping it up, you could probably get some supersticky tires, superbright headlights, a superloud horn, a headlight modulator, steel brake lines, a steering damper, new shock, and have the forks done by a professional.
But that bike looks ready to ride as is, to me. Good luck and have fun.
