Question
I'll "roll the dice." My new 06 1100 v star vibrates to a point that it shakes my windshield when I accelerate through the gears. It's new so I have waited until I reach 1,000 miles to see if it smooths out, but it hasn't...got any ideas.

Some bikes are like that.

I recommend you sign up with an online forum for V-star owners. There are probably hundreds of them. They communicate and share ideas/experience, and you can get an idea if the problem is endemic to the bike or if it smooths out after a certain time or if there is a modification you can make to reduce the vibration.

Google search "V-Star Owners Forums Information" and see what comes up. You will probably make some good friends in the process.
