Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: Question about exhaust, 2005 kawasaki zx10r, cumbustion

Question
My question doesnt concern my saftey but the saftey of my engine. I have a 2005 Kawasaki zx10r ninja and I was wondering if running it without an exhaust can would hurt the motor due to less back pressure. I know this may not be the correct place to ask but all the repair guys are maxed out on their questions and I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Thanks.

Answer
Well I will try to answer this to the best of my ability for you.  First off I would not try and run your bike without an exhaust.  The are designed to depense toxins and other gases away from you.  Also they are designed to keep the gases away from the cumbustion of the engine.  Think of it as a long filter to keep your engine and you (the operator) safe.  As far as back pressure goes I would assume it would affect the performance of your bike but not positive.  But for the safety  of your engine keep the exhaust on.
