Hey Will, I need new pipes for a 1969 Yamaha 650 Special. I also need to make sure they don't break any laws in Ontario. If you could let me know where i could pick up a pair and how much they would set me back it'd be much appreciated. Let me know A.S.A.P.!

Because of it's age, that's going to be a tough one.

Best place to happen across a set would be eBay of course, or the parts section on cycletrader.com.

But be warned, if they have them, they will be expensive. Not that a "new" set will be cheap from anyone.

As for how they will stack up to Ontario noise regs, I don't have a clue (I'm in Oregon), but I don't think it's an issue. The bike is older than most cops. Do they care that much? It it has mufflers of any sort on it, it's going to be quieter than the majority of cruisers and many sportbikes out there.
