Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: BIKE SIZE, dyna low rider, inch inseam

Question
IS THERE AS MUCH LEG ROOM ON A 2004 DYNA LOW RIDER WITH FORWARD CONTROLS PUT ON AS A 2003 1200C SPORTSTER? I AM 6'1" AND DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH LEG ROOMON MY BIKE, WAS WONDERING IF LOW RIDER HAS SAME AMOUT OF LEG ROOM OR MORE. THANKS.

Answer
Erik,

Thanks for the question.

I'm six-foot tall and 33-inch inseam, and I recently sat on a Sportster Custom and thought it was plenty roomy for me. The Dyna Low Rider is a bit bigger still (larger engine so a bit bigger frame), so it should be very comfortable. I think you'd fit fine on either. It's actually better to have a bit more bend in the knee on a long ride, so the Sportster may be more comfortable for distance than the Low Rider. Best way to find out is to go to a dealer and have a seat on both, and take a ride if possible.

Get either one and ride it!
