Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: about tyres, tyre width, rear tyre

hello anil,

some time back i asked your opinion for selecting rear tyre for my pulsar150. You asked me to Dunlop 100/90.

well donno what happened to the tyre, it started cracking in between the grooves.I think i must replace it.

Dunlop is no longer available and you said that MRF is not good, so can you suggest something good apart from michelin(cos it is very costly)

Hi Chandan,

I don't know of any other brand that makes that size of tyres - you could try the Srichakras that come on the new Fiero - just check that the size (tyre width, height and rim size are the same.).

If that isn't available, go in for the MRF, I guess - you don't have a choice!
