Hi - I'm looking into buying my first car. I have one question that has me curious: can a car with a digital mileage display be wound back, or is that only an issue for cars with the rotating digits type meter?

Hello Ian. The mileage can not be changed. The entire cluster can be replace however. Someone could go to a junkyard buy an odometer out of a wrecked vehicle and swap it for the higher miles one. If you are questioning the miles order a Carfax or Autocheck history report. Those will give you odometer history of the car. Thanks for the question and good luck. Shane Forist
