Used Cars: Auctions, used, car

Question
Hello,

My friend who works for the city of Seattle told me I can get super great deals at the county's auto auction for county vehicles that are being sold. He has never been to one, but he "has heard".

Are we talking about significant percentages off the Blue Book value?
Taking time off my job to go to the auction, will cost me money I can hardly spare, unless it is worthwhile.

Thank you.
William

Answer
Hi William,

Your friend is right, you will get super deals at a government auction, and yes it's worthwhile for you to attend,,, but knowing what you're doing becomes another matter.

You will be going to a Government Auction, most consumers don't know about it, the ones that do are smart shoppers that are members of Gov Auctions and will have paid a fee to know where every Gov auction is held, and many of your car dealers will attend,,, I want you to go,,, it will be the best experience buying a car you will ever get.

You happen to know about this because your friend works for the city but most people don't.

I have a website with a link that explains what these type auctions are all about  http://www.usedcartips.org/AUCTIONS.html anything you don't fully understand feel free to post it in the usedcartips forum, and I will help you along getting value for your bucks.
