Used Cars: problem with a car bought in USA, auction, scams

Question
Hi,

I live in France. I have bought in USA a 2005 Porsche 991 997 2S coupe damage but with a clean title. Before paying the car, the seller says to me that there is only bumper, headlight, fender and airbags to replace. I have read the "autocheck" and there was written "no frame damage". I have received the car in France and the guy who will repair the car, says to me that there is a front left frame damage with a crack and that the cost for fix is very expensive. I have contacted the seller by email  (santi) and send to him a lot of pictures but he doesn't want to refund to me money. Can you try to contact him? Do you know what I can do? serial number is WP0AB299X5S742011

Answer
Hey There Jean Louis

The fact that the airbags were deployed and making a purchase through another country should have made you stay away no matter what the price, you thought you got a deal when history shows no frame damage, a simple scam that some sellers know how to get around, without going into long detail here is just one example how this could have happened

If a car is written of the title may show as SALVAGE, take that car to another state, fix it up and have it visual inspected by that state and receive a clean title.

You been scammed and sorry to say there is nothing you can do , your bill of sale will most likely state you bought the car AS IS ? Did you buy this vehicle through an auction ? yes send me a contact if this seller has got a website or listing other vehicle's on the Internet.,,, Check the make private box when you reply or our correspondence will be public.
