Used Cars: Used Car Dealership, party warranty, dodge dealership

Question
Hello Ray,

I want to first thank you for taking the time to read this e-mail.  I bought an 06 dodge charger on May 7th, 2009.  After the first day there was a knocking noise in the engine.  On May 8th, I took it to another dodge dealership and they immediately said it was a "rocker arm" and to take it back.  I took the car back on May 9th, 2009. To the Midway Kia/Dodge dealership.  They informed me that I could not back out of the deal and I had to get it fixed.  This was only maybe 2 days of having the car. Since he said that I thought I was pretty much out of luck and have to get the car fixed.  It is now the third week.  They informed me today May 27th, 2009 that they are waiting on the warranty approval.  I believe that they are trying to get warranty approval on the extended warranty I bought with them so they do not have to pay for the repairs.  I am at the point to call a lawyer and back out of the whole deal because the service is not there, I have had to call them nonstop for answer and they are giving me the run around.  Please let me know what would be the best resolution as to maybe backing out of the deal because I do not want to give them the satisfaction of a sale....

Answer
Hi Chris

I wish you would have been able to study my website prior to purchase as you would not have been in this mess now.

The dealership sold you a useless third party warranty and made huge profit, a legitimate warranty company will approve work to be done with a simple phone call from dealer, as for contacting a lawyer, here is a link on my website with some answers   http://www.usedcartips.org/dispute.html

As for backing out of the deal, that will not happen unless you can prove misrepresentation.

Chris,,, Here is a link   http://www.cardealercheck.com/dealer/9275.html   the short write ups with satisfied customers are most likely posted by dealer, but the long detailed once are for real.
