Used Cars: unsafe vehicle, bmw 645ci, lawndale california

Question
good evening,
i purchased a 05 bmw 645ci in lawndale california february 5,2009. 14 days later and 940 miles the navigation/info center flashed to shut off engine before it was blown. i checked and there was no oil. which was odd since it wasn't due for service for another 6800mi according to bmw. to make a long story short i called bmw immediately, and asked what to do. they informed me to take it straight there after adding a quart of oil so i didn't go over the 30day/1000mi warranty. i did that and had a complete diagnostic since i felt very uncomfortable with the dealership i purchased it from. the reason i felt this way is they had informed me they just received it back from bmw before i purchased it. while there i had the finance manager run the vin to check for anything out of the ordinary. the car was shown clean, but there was no record of inspection by bmw prior to my purchase. so i had a full diagnostic check and the car was found to have fluid leaks from the engine vacum seal and transmission leak. The check engine light needs fixed, and they found three faulty tires 1st tire had dry rotted 2nd tire had metal cord showing 3rd was bald from inner area. i'm no mechanic, but i thought they could have disclosed this prior to purchase. when i talked to the owner and informed him bmw feels the car is unsafe to drive could he tow it for me he replied " you drove it this long i think you can drive it 60 more miles if u want the car repaired." Also he said you test drove it didn't you notice these problems? i informed him that it was raining and i wasn't a mechanic. Can i return the car or at least have him fix it at a bmw center to insure it's properly repaired? thanks for your time and professional experiece!!!! I have the money for the repairs, but i'm thinking about the kid, wife, child who may not and how much he disrespected me by telling me to get an attorney if i had a problem and that he doubted that i could afford it!!!!

Answer
WOW, What dealer or kind of dealer did you purchase it from? You should be able to run the VIN# and see the entire maintenance records and eligible warranty coverage. How many actual miles are on the car. Give me the full VIN# and Ill check it. Let me know and we will see what's going on.
